Weihang Li is an active Conductor, violinist and music tutor in Tasmania, having graduated from Sydney Conservatorium of Music with the Master of Conducting degree. During his four year of stay in Tasmania, he has been appointed as a conductor or music director for several orchestras such as the Derwent Symphony Orchestra (DSO), Southern Tasmanian Community Orchestra (STCO) and Tasmanian Youth Orchestra Chamber Orchestra (TYO). He founded C-Silk International Music Association Inc. in 2018 and successfully held more than 30 concerts engaging more than 50 musicians from the community. He also works in MONA participating in Mona Foma and Dark Mofo festival performances, cooperating with artists such as Dean Stevenson, Blaze Garza and David Keating.
