Christine has worked in Dunedin as a violin and viola teacher and as a violist for the Southern Sinfonia. She moved to Tasmania in 2007 and has played viola and violin in the Hobart Chamber Orchestra and Derwent Symphony Orchestra.
Christine taught a jazz fiddle elective at several camps up to 2008. In 2010 she conducted the camp’s new Melaleuca Orchestra.
